2017 has been an eventful year for me as a writer and author.

I published my first book in 2008. Fast forward to 2017 and I have published five books, of which two have become bestsellers.

This year in particular has been interesting. I can boldly say I got massive alerts from book sales ( you don't want to know the figure)

So how did I get here apart from the grace of God?

1) I am passionate about writing. I believe I can change the world through writing. I love being a writer. I am proud of what I do.

2) I have met many naturally gifted writers who live ordinary lives. Of a truth I am probably the least gifted.

However, I am 101% committed to touching lives through writing. I have made a commitment to become a successful writer. I believe that very soon I would make so much impact and money from writing, no one would believe.

3) There were times when it seem like I was wasting my time writing, and I almost gave up writing. Sometimes it seems no one was watching. However, I diligently continued to write and publish. Sometimes I gave 100s of copies of my books out for free because people would not buy, but today the story has changed. Sometimes, an alert enters my account before the customer places order. Keep writing, God is watching, the world is watching and your reward is sure.

4) Writing is tedious. It involves hardwork. I write every day now because through consistent practice, I have mastered the act of writing. Sometimes, I write while my kids are jumping all over me. In any case, I must write. Do not expect to receive a harvest from where you have not down. I used to struggle about what to write. Today, there is too much to write with so little time.

Successful people make success intentional by being PASSIONATE, COMMITTED, DILIGENT, AND HARD WORKING about what they do.

Above all, make God the centre of all that you do. Only then will you fine true lasting fulfillment, peace, and joy.

Enjoy a memorable Christmas celebrating Jesus Christ our Saviour.
